Stage 3: (ADVANCED STAGE)

Students are expected to play with instructors in what is considered the DRUM CIRCLE.  The drum circle consist of, two or more drummers, who play different variations of a particular rhythm:  when executed correctly, the different variations will form one unique rhythm.  Auxiliary drumming or battery drumming as many refer to this style of drumming as, is still widely demonstrated in many African / Tribal cultures today. 

Hand Drumming is commonly used in ceremonial occasions such as weddings, burials, coming of age, etc: student will be taught different but more complex time signatures, such as rhythms in 6/8, 3/4, and 5. In addition to being able to perform at the   professional level. Students will leave with and extensive knowledge of percussion and the skills to further his or her ability.
